These works involved the constriction of the new facility within the envelope of the existing warehouse. The structure will consist of two rooms, namely the Bag Dump and Pouch Filling Room. The scope of work required an airtight bubble to be constructed initially and all works had to be undertaken within that bubble. All materials, equipment and plant had to be cleaned and wrapped before being brought through the plant to the work area.

The scope included:

  • Preparation of existing structural steel for new works, including site welding and drilling at variouse heights.
  • Supply, fabricate and erect new structural steel frame.
  • Construction of new rooms to accommodate the Pouch Fill Process.
