Extension and refurbishment of a private residence originally designed by ABK Architects in 1979-1982. Built on the Wicklow mountains south of Dublin, the aim of the design was to insert the house unobtrusively into the landscape whilst shaping the house to take full advantage of the varied views from the site. Although only 20 miles from the centre of Dublin, it is still largely unspoilt mountain scenery.
