Collen awarded new contract in Dublin Airport
Collen Awarded Contract in Dublin Airport Collen Construction has been awarded the contract for the refurbishment and fit-out of the Sim Building at Dublin Airport.
The project will provide new accommodation for the “line maintenance” staff refurbishment works will be carried out to the ground, 1st and 2nd floors of the SIM annex building and a section of the warehouse ground floor. Office Fit-out works will include, painting, new floor coverings, new blinds, new tea station, fire protection, construction of new opes in walls providing access to the Warehouse building from the office on the ground floor. “Soft wall” openings will be formed at 1st and 2nd floor. In addition the existing mechanical systems will be serviced and the electrical systems re-certified including re-lamping and cleaning of fittings.
Works to the SIM Warehouse will incorporate construction of new ground floor stores in the Simulator Warehouse building includes installation of new cladding to main structure, structural steel fabrication and construction of steel column and beam mezzanine to the floor above the stores and associated foundations for structural stanchions. Installation of VRF mechanical Air-conditioning will be incorporated within the stores.
Civil works will include relocation of Airside /Landside fencing and line marking and kerb formation to new footpaths.
