Accounts Assistant (Maternity Leave Cover)


Key Requirements:

  • 2-5 years’ experience working in a similar role

  • Fluency in English

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and finance software packages

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities of the role will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Work collaboratively with the finance and procurement team to support operational excellence and compliance

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department

  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounting documents and records-Data entry of financial transactions in database

  • Prepare sales invoices/ post sales receipts / manage debtors ledger-Prepare weekly payroll-Bank reconciliation

  • Maintain sub-contractor payments ledger-Assist and support company personnel with regards to accounts and as required

  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

  • Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas

  • Promote and foster the company core values and a culture of wellness at work

  • Handle internal and external communication with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality

  • Good working knowledge of general data protection regulation (GDPR).

    The key individual will be articulate with good numeracy and time management skills. Will possess the ability to work independently and to prioritize tasks while maintaining good communication and engagement with the wider organization.
