Document Controller - Estimating


Key Requirements:

This full-time, office-based role presents an opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic international organisation. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting a team of Estimators, based in Dublin.

  • The successful candidate will have ideally worked in a similar environment with excellent administration skills

  • Have a confident telephone manner

  • Possess excellent communication skills

  • Able to adapt and work on multiple projects/tasks at any given time

  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have a strong degree of attention to detail

  • Be able to manage own workload and meet tight deadlines

  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft suite of software

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required

  • Understanding and experience of the Construction Industry

    Reporting to the Chief Estimator, the key responsibilities of the role will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing tender and contract documents

  • Collating relevant tender information for the estimator

  • Preparing subcontract packages for distribution to the market

  • Supply chain management in terms of updating the tender list and CRM

  • Ensuring all quotations are complete and returned within strict deadlines

  • Answering and distributing telephone calls in relation to tenders, dealing directly with the query or passing on to the relevant person responsible

  • Undertaking general admin duties.
