Estimating Administrator


This full-time role presents an opportunity to join a fast-paced, dynamic international organisation. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting a team of Estimators, based in Dublin.

Key Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have ideally worked in a similar environment with excellent administration skills

  • Have a confident telephone manner

  • Possess excellent communication skills

  • Able to adapt and work on multiple projects/tasks at any given time

  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have a strong degree of attention to detail

  • Be able to manage own workload and meet tight deadlines

  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft packages

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently, when required

  • Understanding and experience of the Construction Industry (preferred, but not essential)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collating relevant tender information for the Estimators

  • Ensuring all quotations are complete and returned via set deadlines

  • Preparing and sending tender enquiries to supply chain

  • Compiling information for tender submissions including supporting documents, such as health and safety requirements, insurance details, CV’s, references and company presentations

  • Printing and filing quotations received

  • Printing and preparing tender files, including drawings and supporting documentation

  • Updating the tender list and CRM

  • Answering and distributing telephone calls in relation to tenders, dealing directly with the query or passing on to the relevant person responsible

  • Undertaking general administrative duties.
