Collen's 8th Annual Charity Cycle event took place between Friday, September 1st, and Sunday, September 3rd, 2023. The event, better known as #collencharitycycle2023, successfully raised €150,000 for local charities, and as we transition to the New Year, Collen wishes to thank all of our charity partners and sponsors for their continued support.

Collen is immensely proud of the funds raised so far and appreciates the opportunity to shine a light on the charities and their incredible services through this yearly event.

Building Bridges

The 'Building Bridges' theme brought together Collen teams from Ireland, the UK, Denmark, and Sweden for a cycle across bridges. By coming together to 'Build Bridges,' we can achieve anything, whether it's bridging physical distances or overcoming obstacles.

Participants included Collen employees, friends, family, clients, subcontractors, and the extended supply chain, highlighting the strong sense of community support within Collen Construction.

The event also showcased the collaborative effort to raise funds for 21 charities within the regions where Collen operates. The Collen Charity Cycle 2023, themed 'Building Bridges,' symbolised the spirit of coming together, regardless of challenges, and encouraged community action to create a healthier and more resilient society.

Bridges are more than just structures to travel from one point to another. By ‘Building Bridges’ together, we develop new ideas to improve our way of life, foster an understanding and appreciation of cultural differences, and promote leadership that drives our global community towards a better future.

Annual Charity Cycle

The success of the Collen Charity Cycle is measured not only in the funds raised but also in the lasting impact it has on communities and the well-being of Collen employees taking part. Over the last eight years, this event has been a great success, showing that Collen is wholly committed to making a difference.

Collen's Annual Charity Cycle goes beyond fundraising; it demonstrates the positive change possible when we unite to 'Build Bridges' together. Reflecting on the 8th Annual Charity Cycle, Collen looks forward to building on its success in the years to come.
