Extension to a contemporary nursing home facility.
The existing Ferndene Nursing Home, originally built by Collen Construction, is situated on the Deansgrange Road and accommodates 92 residents. As part of the expansion the new extension accommodates for 25 additional bedrooms to help meet the growing demand for nursing homes in Ireland.

This project won Healthcare Project of the Year at the 2017 Fit Out Awards.
This project involved an extension to the west wing of the existing 3-storey nursing home in the form of infill extensions at ground and first floors levels and a vertical extension over the existing west wing to provide a second floor level accommodation. The extension provided 25 additional bedrooms, dining room, day room and ancillary facilities. Demolitions of the existing structures, bulk dig and piling works formed parts of the main contract works. FA: 1,020m2
