While historically a day of indulgence before Lent, Fettisdagen is now synonymous with the semla, a traditional Swedish wheat bun filled with almond paste and whipped cream. This celebration of "fika" is a significant part of Swedish culture and offers a moment for teams to come together and mark the occasion.
