Construction of Tyrellstown residential development.
The project involved the construction of 232 residential units in 15 No two and three storey blocks together with communal welfare offices and Crèche building. The building area is 21,000m2 and the overall site measures 70,000m2. The development is a mixture of two and three bedroom houses and apartments complete with rear and front gardens, concrete surfaced drive –in parking and bin stores. There is a railed and gated landscaped garden opposite the Creche Building and the development includes over 1300 linear metres of road network.
Careful coordination of high-specification fit-out and mechanical & electrical installations.
Each apartment has a high specification fit out consisting of oak flooring with tiling to kitchen and bathroom areas. Fully fitted kitchens including integrated white goods are supplied and fitted. Electric under-floor heating to stair cores and traditional gas heating systems to remaining areas. The fully tiled bathrooms are furnished and fitted with a disabled toilet and grab rail, wheelchair accessible shower area complete with shower seats.
The fit-out of the project included the installation of new electrical services, new partitions, ceilings and floors. The project incorporated 6 lifts within the complex and the installation of a new fire alarm system, social alarm system, intruder alarm system, new emergency lighting, new fire stopping, new cavity barriers, new partitions, new stair cores, new service risers. CCTV Installations to circulation areas. Construction works include the installation of hard and soft landscaped communal gardens, 3 no retail units on ground level and the provision of new street railings and ancillary site works.
