Key Requirements:

• 3rd level qualification or equivalent qualification/ experience in procurement, purchasing, commercial, or construction plant operations

• Minimum 3+years in a similar position

• Advanced knowledge of plant and asset management

• Familiarity with Swedish regulatory compliance and construction industry standards

• Proficient in the use of asset management systems & tools

• Strong analytical and process orientation, with attention to detail

• Excellent communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Swedish language skills preferred; fluent English required

• Valid Swedish or EEA driver’s license

Reporting to the Procurement Manager based in head office in Gävle, the key requirements of the role will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordination of Collen Aktiebolag Plant & Vehicles

• Support the development and implementation of Collen asset management strategies in Sweden

• Coordinate all plant & asset lifecycle activities, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposal

• Support the dispatch and return of all plant & assets relative to project requirements

• Schedule the planned and reactive maintenance of all project assets including site cabins, tools, plant, equipment, and vehicle fleet

• Support minimising downtime and maximise asset productivity

• Support the Hire versus Buy appraisals for all plant and equipment

• Support the most economical procurement and/or hire approach through strategic engagement with plant hire and sales vendors

• Support the procuring of all site and vehicle fuel and replacement parts requirements

• Support profitability of the Plant Department by efficient cost management

• Coordinate the re-use, sale and/or recycle of plant assets effectively

• Point of contact for vehicle incident and accident events including organising the most efficient repair and rescue solution

• Align plant management with sustainability strategy of the business

• Oversee vehicle maintenance scheduling in line with regional requirements

• Maintaining up to date records for all plant, vehicles, and tools and comply with best practice and regulatory requirements

• Support plans for the replacement or upgrade of obsolete assets

• Tracking, tracing & documentation of all leased and hired assets

• Organising periodic inspection and testing of lift devices (forklifts, teleporters, chains, slings, waste skips, concrete skips, harnesses, etc.)

• Compliance with all statutory and company safety, environmental and sustainability requirements

Commercial

• Apply a high level of commercial awareness with regards to the coordination of company plant & assets

• Reconciliation of monthly invoices/ statements for all plant and assets.
